This machine-local Claude Code runtime lock was committed long ago in
e3823ce4 (shared main history) and later removed on upstream/main. Our
fork's main never got that removal, so the branch still carried it and
the PR diff was re-introducing it into upstream/main.
Untrack it (`git rm --cached`, local copy kept) and gitignore it so it
never returns. Since the base (upstream/main) already lacks the file,
removing it at the branch tip drops it from the PR diff entirely.
- Extract tryAutoRedirectToIdp() on the login page so onMount's redirect
guard and the post-setup flow share one check instead of drifting.
- Fix a real bug: 304 Not Modified responses carry no Content-Type, so
is_html misclassified them and attached the strict headerless CSP,
which browsers merge into the cached 200's effective headers and
defeat the SPA's hash-based CSP on revalidated repeat visits.
- Add Cache-Control: no-store on the SPA shell to opt out of bfcache,
preventing a pre-deploy shell (stale inline hydration script + CSP
hash) from being resurrected byte-for-byte across the OIDC redirect's
full-page navigations.
- Add a manual, human-run SSO-only script/env (ports 8090/1081) since
the automated oidc.hurl suite keeps password login enabled and never
exercises the auto-redirect guard.
Decode JPEGs at the smallest DCT scale (1/8·1/4·1/2·1/1) whose long axis is
still ≥ the largest needed thumbnail (800px), via jpeg-decoder, instead of a
full-resolution decode through the image crate. The full-res bitmap — the
dominant time and RAM cost — is never materialised. PNG/GIF/WebP and unusual
JPEG colour spaces (CMYK / 16-bit grey) fall back to a full decode.
Extracts the shared decode + EXIF-orientation logic into decode_oriented(),
removing the duplication that existed between render_thumbnail_from_data and
render_all_thumbnails_from_data.
Measured on 14 cores (see benches/BASELINE.md):
- render_all 1.8-2.0× faster (12MP 111->61ms, 48MP 398->203ms)
- peak heap 5.5-14.8× lower, now decoupled from source MP (~18-25MB regardless)
- saturated throughput 3-3.6× (parallel efficiency 4.9×->8.5×)
- quality SSIM 0.987-0.999 (>=0.98 gate), PSNR 47-55dB
Also adds the Phase 0 benchmark harness (gated behind the `bench` feature, zero
prod impact): deterministic image corpus (src/bench_support.rs), criterion
latency bench (benches/thumbnails.rs), and a peak-RAM/throughput/SSIM harness
(examples/bench_thumbnails_mem.rs). Baseline + before/after in benches/BASELINE.md.

Phase 0 of the delta-sync plan. Re-uploading a file the user already has
(another device, a restore, a duplicate) used to transfer every byte just
for the server to discard them as a dedup hit. The frontend now computes
the file's BLAKE3 locally and, on a hit, registers the file with a single
~150-byte metadata call.
Server — POST /api/files/by-hash:
- All checks live in the application service per the AuthZ rule:
Create permission on the target folder via the authorization engine,
hash ownership via the existing user-scoped query (a non-owned hash
returns 404 — same shape as "no such blob" — and emits an
instant_upload.rejected audit event), quota on the logical size.
- On success: one ref_count bump + the existing save_file_with_blob row
registration (compensation included); is_new_blob=false so lifecycle
hooks skip thumbnail regeneration. ~10 ms warm.
- The storage-usage service is now built before the application services
and injected, instead of only living on AppState.
Client — WASM BLAKE3 + worker:
- wasm/oxicloud-hash: the exact same blake3 crate the server uses,
compiled with WASM SIMD128 (~660 MB/s measured) so browser hashes match
server content addresses bit for bit. Built by scripts/build-wasm.sh;
the artifacts (45 KB wasm + 8 KB glue) are vendored like pdf.js — no
npm dependencies, no wasm toolchain needed for regular builds.
- static/js/workers/hashWorker.js streams the File in 8 MiB slices off
the main thread (constant RAM at any file size).
- features/files/instantUpload.js orchestrates: threshold (8 MiB — below
it the round-trips cost more than the bytes), user-scoped
/api/dedup/check, by-hash registration, and silent fallback to the
normal byte upload on any miss, race or unsupported environment.
Wired into both uploadFiles and uploadFolderEntries.
- biome.json vendors exclusion fixed to cover nested directories
(previous vendors were .mjs and never matched the *.js include).
Verified end-to-end against PostgreSQL 16: node-driven WASM hash equals
the server's content_hash for a 20 MB file; by-hash returns 201 in ~10 ms
warm with a 151-byte request (vs 20,971,873 bytes for the byte upload);
the copy downloads byte-identical and the manifest ref_count goes 1→2;
a second user probing the same hash gets exists:false and 404 plus the
audit line; duplicate name → 409, malformed hash → 400; worker and wasm
are served with correct MIME (application/wasm).

add OXICLOUD_CHUNK_MAX_BYTES which correspond to the max upload chunk allowed
(differs from OXICLOUD_MAX_UPLOAD_SIZE which is the max total size of a file)

Streams the request body straight to the chunk file with peak heap of
~one HTTP frame, regardless of chunk size or the configured cap. The
`storage.chunk_max_bytes` config (env `OXICLOUD_CHUNK_MAX_BYTES`,
default 100 MB) bounds a single PUT — separate from `max_upload_size`
which governs whole-file uploads. Without this separation, a client
could submit a chunk up to the whole-file cap (10 GB default) and
monopolise server memory.
ci: fix actions/checkout@v6 → @v4 (v6 does not exist)
GitHub started rejecting invalid action versions at parse time,
causing every CI run to fail with 0s / 'workflow file issue'
before any jobs could start.

Adds full Traditional Chinese translation (628 keys, 100% parity with
en.json) and the registration plumbing to make it pickable in the UI.
Registration spans three layers that all needed updating for the locale
to actually be selectable end-to-end:
- static/locales/zh-TW.json (new) — TW vocabulary (儲存/雲端/檔案/偵測),
uses 「」 corner brackets for in-string quoting
- core/i18n.js: add 'zh-TW' to supportedLocales — without this,
setLocale('zh-TW') was silently rejected by the whitelist and the
previous locale stayed active (visible as the "picked 繁中 but the
setup step still shows 簡中" bug)
- core/languageSelector.js: add 'zh-TW' to AVAILABLE_LOCALES + fallback
- features/auth/auth.js: add 'zh-TW' to ALL_LANGUAGES (🇹🇼 繁體中文)
and LANGUAGE_TEXTS bootstrap table (used before i18n loads)
Browser detection rewrite (i18n.js + auth.js detectBrowserLanguage):
The previous navigator.language?.substring(0, 2) truncated zh-TW → zh
and routed Traditional Chinese browsers to Simplified. Replaced with
three-tier matching: exact full-tag > Chinese script/region heuristic
(zh-Hant*, zh-{TW,HK,MO}) > primary subtag fallback.
Disambiguates the existing zh entry: "Chinese / 中文" became
"Simplified Chinese / 简体中文".
Drive-by cleanups discovered while wiring up the above:
- Remove dead t() in i18n.js (export uses safeT, no callers of bare t)
- Remove dead fetchUserData() and logout() in auth.js (userMenu.js has
its own local logout())
- Extract errMessage(unknown→string) and inputVal(id) helpers for the
catch sites and getElementById('x').value sites that needed TS
narrowing under checkJs
- Type-annotate module-scope let forms/errors/panels with
HTMLFormElement and HTMLElement so .addEventListener and .reset()
resolve under strict
- Drop navigator.userLanguage IE legacy fallback (DOM lib has no field)
- jsconfig.json: drop exactOptionalPropertyTypes (only valid with
strictNullChecks, which the project deliberately disables)
- .gitignore: ignore docker-compose.override.yml for local bind-mount
dev workflow
Verified clean before commit: biome ci, tsc --noEmit, i18n key parity
(628/628), HTTP smoke test against running container.

Nextcloud desktop/mobile sync clients can connect to OxiCloud.
Key additions:
- Login Flow v2 (device auth) with OIDC bridge support
- WebDAV handler compatible with Nextcloud clients (PROPFIND, GET,
PUT, DELETE, MKCOL, MOVE, COPY, HEAD, PROPPATCH)
- OCS API endpoints (user info, capabilities, notifications stubs,
sharees, unified search)
- Basic Auth middleware with app password verification, account
lockout integration, and blake3-keyed auth cache
- App password management: create, list, revoke via both native
API (JWT-authenticated profile page) and Nextcloud OCS endpoints
- Nextcloud file ID mapping (oc:fileid) with persistent DB storage
- Chunked upload support (Nextcloud v2 chunking protocol)
- Trashbin WebDAV interface
- Avatar (SVG placeholder) and preview (redirect) handlers
- User profile page with app password management UI
- URL user validation on all DAV routes (403 on mismatch)
- Database schema for app_passwords and nextcloud_object_ids tables
All services are behind a `nextcloud.enabled` config flag and
cleanly separated under src/interfaces/nextcloud/.
